Last day of grade 3, for 2016!
It's hard to believe how fast the time went this year. Again, another group has captured my heart! I have loved spending every day with you, getting to know you and watching you grow and learn! It was bittersweet as I said goodbye, I am so terrible at goodbyes, but I know you are ready! Best of luck in grade 4! Have a wonderful summer. Thank you for a fantastic year. Please stop by to say hi next year! xoxo
Love, Mrs. Squire
Thank you to the parents who were able to join us for ice cream today!

Butterfly Release
Today when we arrived at school all but two butterflies had emerged. We took the aquariums outside to release them. About 20 of the butterflies quickly flew out on their own. After that, we gently, one at a time, reached in to see if the butterflies would climb on to our hands...and they did! So cool!
Here's a little video clip of the first butterflies flying out.
They are all crowded down in the left-hand corner. There are about 20 in each aquarium. |
I still had my "fancy" supervision vest on, I was attracting butterflies with the bright colour! :) |
