Practice reading the clock

This week we wrapped up our mini unit on telling time.  On this day students worked together on a time/clock puzzle. Boys vs Girls! 

Read to Self

We are working hard at building our stamina for silent reading,  reading to self. Students started their reading logs this week so they can track their awesome reading! 

Sorting rocks

The second activity with our rock collections was to figure out how to sort them according to certain properties.  We sorting today by colour, shape, and texture.  Then the student had to come up with descriptors for each of the rocks in each of the categories.

Swimming Lessons

Me Box Presentations

We had fun learning all about our classmates during our Me Box presentations.  Well done grade three!

 After the presentations, we had a show and tell time.  Kids were able to walk around and have a closer look at all of the contents of the Me Boxes.
