This week I taught the students how to draw a clover. We also discussed the colours of the rainbow.
We completed this watercolour project by drawing the clover in the middle and adding a beautiful rainbow around it. I think the rainbow colours really make them pop!
On March 2nd both, Ms. Van Teetering's class and our class kicked off March Madness - Book Edition. We will read a new book each day and then the kids will vote for which book moves forward! At the end of the month, we will have a winner. I can't wait to find out what the winning book will be! This activity is a tradition in Ms. Van Teetering's class, I'm glad we are able to join in this year!
On March 1st we celebrated the 100th day of school. We had so much fun guessing what 100 items each student brought in their bag. Such creative ideas! Well done, 1SB.
On Friday we celebrated Winter Carnival, A Quebec tradition. Read more about the history here.
In the morning our students enjoyed making and eating Canadian maple syrup taffy! In the afternoon we played all sorts of winter games out on the field! Central Middle School leadership students led the stations for us. Lots of fun!
