Claire's Show & Tell

Claire saved $100 Classroom Superbucks to bring her pet hamster, Cinnamon Bun for show and tell!  It was fun to learn all about him.  Good job, Claire.

Lucky Charms Math

St. Patrick's Day didn't fall on a school day this year, but we had a little fun anyway.  We used Lucky Charms Cereal to complete a bunch of fun math activities.  After that, we had a little cupcake treat from Maxx's aunt. It was a fun day!

Measurement Snowmen

The students demonstrated their understanding of measurement by creating these awesome snowmen!  Each part of the snowman was carefully measured and then recorded.

The snowmen now line our hallway, you will be able to check them out on interview night!

Otis

The Medicine Wildlife Center came and talked to us about their animal hospital and what to do if you were to find an injured wild animal.  Otis the owl also came along!

Building & Testing

We've moved on to our Building & Testing unit.  Here are the students completing their first building challenge.  They were testing the strength of the arch design shape versus the square design shape.

Cracker Box Guitars

The big project for our hearing and sound science unit was to build a cracker box guitar and then demonstrate the difference between pitch and volume.

As a grand finale, we performed at the assembly!
