Community Walk
It's a tradition at Mountview to deliver homemade "friendship" cards to our school neighbours. On Friday we went out delivering the cards that we made.
It's so exciting to hear back from our neighbours about how much they enjoy and appreciate the cards.

Easter in Ukraine
This week we discussed Easter in Ukraine as part of our social studies curriculum. We learned about the beautiful Pysanky style of Easter eggs.
We made our own grade 3 version "Pysanky-ISH". Watch for these beautiful eggs coming home for Easter.

We had several guests visit us from Central Alberta Refugee Effort (C.A.R.E) to teach us about their home country.

We have started our new science unit: Building & Testing. This week we tested the square shape vs the arch shape to see which shape held the most mass. The square shape won!
