Today we had a Gingerbread-themed day based on the book "The Gingerbread Baby" by Jan Brett.
First, we read the book.
Second, followed clues around the school searching for the tricky Gingerbread Baby.
Third, we decorated and ate gingerbread cookies!
A huge thank you to all parents who donated supplies for our gingerbread day.

I love how this project turned out. We completed a directed drawing of Santa and then coloured it with pastels. Finally, we mounted our artwork on red paper.
We had a few minutes of free time the other day and so the students were drawing and writing on their whiteboards. I love the messages that they wrote and the pictures that they drew! Great printing and heartwarming messages!
