We had PERFECT weather today for our walking field trip to the Red Deer Public Library to visit author, Helaine Becker. Click on the link to see more about Ms. Becker and the books that she has written. After we heard Ms. Becker read from a couple of her books and explain a bit about her writing process those students with library cards toured the children's department and were able to borrow a book. Afterwards, we ate lunch in City Hall Park and then walked to Rotary Park to play before returning to the school. What a fun Friday!
