This week we had another Flat Stanley arrive. Chris's Stanley came back from Campbell River, BC and he brought a very interesting package with him including several pictures, maps, tourist guide, beach shells and sea glass. Very cool! Well done, Chris! Your family prepared an excellent presentation for us, thank you!

Xrays and Bones
Mrs. Leboldus-Campbell visited our grade 3s on Friday afternoon to teach us about her job at the hospital. She's an Xray Technologist and had all sorts of interesting information to share with us about bones and x-rays.
Dentist Visit
Dr. Sharma and her team from Appleway Dental visited our class today to teach about taking care of our teeth and visiting the dentist. They even gave the whole class "goodie bags" at the end.
Field Trip to the museum
We lucked out with the weather and had a beautiful day for our walk to the museum. We participated in Museum's "Emerging City" program.
First, we built dioramas of a city and then we participated in activities in the museum.
Thank you to our parent volunteers for joining us and giving us a hand!

Witch Legs!
We're getting ready for Halloween. This is one of my favourite art projects. I like to do this one every year. I love the different personalities you can see in the Witches, just by looking at their legs. Well done!
Sunflowers
The class did such a great job with these oil pastel sunflowers! I love the shading that they did on the petals of the flowers.
Our First Flat Stanley!
Our first Flat Stanley arrived back to school. Logan did a great job presenting to the class about Flat Stanley's adventure to Fauquier, a small community in BC. It's so interesting to learn about new places. Well done, Logan. And thank you to your family for helping Flat Stanley with his adventure.
Show & Tell
Cooper has been saving his Super Bucks since September. He finally eared $100 Super Bucks and paid for "Bring your pet to school for show and tell"! He brought his cat Jorji. Jorji was so good she even stayed for the whole afternoon, I think she quite liked grade 3. Well done, Cooper!
