The class did such a great job with these oil pastel sunflowers! I love the shading that they did on the petals of the flowers.

Scarecrows & Turkeys
October 12th
Here is a picture of the Scarecrow watercolour project we completed this week. I love all of the different personalities of the scarecrows!
And a picture of a few of the cute Turkey cards that we made for Thanksgiving. Students also wrote an acrostic poem on the back of the card using the word THANKFUL.

Rangoli

For art today we made our own simplified version of Rangoli. Rangoli is a traditional Indian art of decorating the entrance to a home during Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights. Traditionally Rangoli designs are symmetrical and are drawn free hand on a floor using rice grains, flower petals, coloured sand or flour,
