Snowmen At Night

 Last week we created these beautiful Snowmen At Night pieces.  They were made with chalk pastels. I love how they turned out. The shading is perfect! Way to go, 1S!

 This week we read the book "Snowmen At Night".  We wrote in our journals about what we thought snowmen do at night and then drew snowmen.  We followed a directed drawing and practiced shading the snowmen using chalk pastels.  I love how these turned out!  Here are a few samples.

We also wrote stories about what our snowmen were busy doing at night.

Here is our latest art project.  "Snowmen At Night".  We used a technique with a blue marker and wet paint brush to make the shading on the snowmen.
