Winter Carnaval

We really enjoyed trying the maple syrup on snow sticks (La Tire), which is a classic Canadian Quebecois winter treat. We were also excited to meet Bonhomme, the mascot of the Winter Carnaval. We had fun enjoying the outside winter activities, too.

Winter Carnaval

 We participated in the Winter Carnaval for French Canadian Culture. The French grade five classes led us through all sorts of fun winter field day activities: egg race, potato sack race, target throw, and tug of war.

Our favourite activity was making and eating La Tire (Maple Syrup Sticks).
