Sounds is Vibration

This week in science we have been experimenting with sound.  We have learned that Sound is Vibration! We have also been learning about the difference between pitch and volume. We have been experimenting with this by making different homemade instruments.

Hearing & Sound : Kazoos!

On Thursday we had fun experimenting with hearing and sound by building our own Kazoos!  We have learned that vibration = sound!

It was a full house in our room.  Mrs. Fedun's grade 3s also joined us.

Today we experimented with producing different sounds by making simple musical instruments. We have discovered that sound is a result of vibrations.

 We made harmonicas and Kazoos.  Here are a few pictures and videos.
