It was so much fun to learn about Flat Stanley's adventure to Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. We learned a lot of interesting facts!
Excerpt from Flat Stanley's letter: Flat Stanley's adventures in rocky first took him to a big rock, a rock that was here long before Rocky was a town, left here from the last ice age, weighing in at approximately 6 350 000 kilograms. When it was first seen by people, it acted as a landmark for fur traders to know they were on the right track to finding the fur trading post. Now it acts as a historical landmark that young and old can enjoy marvelling at its size or just climbing all over it
