We are watching the bird life cycle live! I have a nesting box in my yard with a solar-powered camera. We were excited to find that two house sparrows had found the box and started building a nest. Each morning, we check in to watch the progress. We are so excited!
For Earth Day, we focused all week on things we can do to help take care of our Earth. Each student wrote what they could do for Earth Day. Then, we made a painting of the Earth to go with our writing. We had fun using marbles to create the artwork.
In April, we worked on a writing piece titled "I am EGGstra special." Each student wrote about qualities that make them unique and special. Then each student created a unique egg art project to complement the writing.
