Mail!

September 11th

The students were excited to receive mail today!  Each student received a letter from the student who sat in their desk last year.  The letters explained all about grade 3 and told the new students of things to look forward to about grade 3.  After each student read their letter they wrote a letter to me asking questions about their upcoming year!

Math Games

We have been busy learning new math games to help us practice quick recall of basic addition facts. Math is FUN!

So far we know "Addition War" & "Let It Roll".

I'm so excited for this year!  We've had a great first few days getting to know each other.  Check out these first-day pictures.  I'm so lucky, this is another great group! We're going to have a great year.

Last day of grade 3, for 2016!

It's hard to believe how fast the time went this year.  Again, another group has captured my heart!  I have loved spending every day with you, getting to know you and watching you grow and learn!  It was bittersweet as I said goodbye, I am so terrible at goodbyes, but I know you are ready!  Best of luck in grade 4! Have a wonderful summer.  Thank you for a fantastic year.  Please stop by to say hi next year!  xoxo

Hawaiian Spirit Day

Today was the last school spirit day for this school year!  Hawaiian Luau!  We ended the day with a whole school, giant limbo line!
